Pitch In For Baseball
At PIFB I got the opportunity to promote youth participation in baseball & softball for children around the world. My main assignments were to monitor, record, store, and assist in redistributing donated baseball & softball equipment to children who do not have the resources to play the game. PIFB has donated equipment to 42 states and over 80 countries while still continuing to grow in redistribution.
Lynbrook Vikings Basketball Camp
I work as a basketball instructor, advising and helping young kids develop their skills. The camps consist of children between the ages of five to fifteen. Each year we have seen an increase in attendance and it gives me joy to see the smiles on these young children playing a game that brought so much to my life. Here we probe participants through a collection of basic knowledge and competition. We look to inspire young athletes to grow and learn the positive aspects of teamwork, communication, competition, and development.
Basketball Bound Inc
At these summer camps I got the opportunity to coach my own group of youth athletes. We simulated different stations where each group of children would rotate and learn a different skill. I was in charge of development in proper free throw shooting and teaching each group different competitive games.
